It however alerted farmers to sandstorm that is expected to strike areas of matured wheat crop, saying that growers should take steps accordingly to safeguard grains and residue after harvesting. Wheat crop is at heading-maturity stages in of upper half of the country, it said, asking the growers to schedule their harvesting keeping in view the weather conditions ahead.
